Featuring the burr oak leaf as its emblem, the Village of Burr Ridge’s unofficial slogan is – "A very Special Place." Burr Ridge is a beautiful community, well known for its lovely homes and quiet residential subdivisions. It is located approximately 19 miles from downtown Chicago. For a village the size of Burr Ridge, where the financial director also handles IT duties, building one GIS web site on their own would have been a huge undertaking. Using Integrator, the city has already built four, including a public access site.
"Using mPower Integrator, we were able to create multiple customized web GIS sites, adapting to the individual needs of our departments," states Jerry Sapp, the financial director for the village. "We simply could not have done this our selves without the Integrator software." mPower customers include municipal, county, and federal governments, public utilities, and real estate developers. Anyone who is using ESRI ArcIMS® or Autodesk MapGuide®, will accomplish more with fewer resources using mPower Integrator. |
