Founded in 1995 and based in Le Sueur, Minnesota, Greater Minnesota Gas, Inc., is a privately held, investor-owned natural gas distribution company.  Greater Minnesota Gas, Inc., provides natural gas service to a variety of customers, from individual household accounts to large commercial customers.  The company, which is fully regulated by the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission, has a service area that currently covers an estimated 500 square miles in parts of five counties, including Blue Earth County, Le Sueur County, Rice County, Scott County and Steele County.
