Richland, MI -- Jan. 2011 -- Gull Lake Sewer and Water Authority has selected mPower Integrator for the development of its Enterprise GIS. Initial discussions with GLSWA centered around GPS hardware and data collection to bring additional attribute information into their existing Esri maps that were created and maintained by the engineering firm of Prein & Newhof.

After an initial onsite review and discussion mPower determined that data and information in their Springbrook CIS system, asset and condition databases, coupled with other available county and township GIS layers, would be sufficient to build the GIS without the need for a data collection project.

After three (3) days of installation, data migration and connection to external data sources, GLSWA had a fully functioning GIS.   Upcoming enhancements will include applications for mobile employees and additional sites for individual departments, neighboring utilities, other associations and the general public.
